I’m a reasonable human being. I know my favorite artists are just people. And to be honest, some folks are just actors. They’re not necessarily “artists.” Regardless, they are just people. At my young, naive age, I knew that people would vilify me for my choices, but I also assumed that most people are reasonable and know that anything in front of a camera is a filmed portayal of something. Choreographed, staged, not real. Real, but not real. So imagine my disappointment when I am met with this over the years…
Don’t do this. Do better. You look like you are drooling over a steak. You look like you are seeing a reel in your head, which you are, but be self-aware. Ew. Have the self-control to not look like the biggest psycho stalker on the planet. Would I fan-girl over a great many artists? Maybe, but respectfully. Be respectful of your fellow human beings. We’re all passing through this weird life together. Act like you have some sense. They are just people. Don’t be gross.
